	Seems like I've had no free time lately, what with working full time, picking up a second part time job, and rehearsing for a play (yes, I've been cast as the lead in No Time For Sergeants, as well as producing and assistant directing). Sheesh! :) Diane and I did get to have a little outing to see the local high school's production of Little Shop of Horrors, which was quite enjoyable. They did the original theatrical ending, which I had never seen before. It isn't nearly as happy as the Hollywood ending, or the ending that our local community theatre group did back in the day. We've also got some future outings planned, mostly to do some more research on the musical Little Women. We went down to Campbell University in Dunn, NC a while back to see a performance (actually two performances) of the show, and we'll be seeing two different high school versions of it within the next month or so. It's a show I hope I can direct for our theatre group, and I think could be an excellent show, if I can come across some strong talent! :)

	It's been a while since our last update. I just added something like NINE new photo sets from 2007 over on the Photos page. No kidding! I've also decided to take most of the "weight loss" entries out of this journal page and make one special section for those of you interested in tracking or learning about our healthy lifestyle plan. As of today, I'm down 157 pounds and Diane has lost 96 pounds, having eaten healthily for the past 2 1/2 years or so. Lately, we're been doing about 6 months fairly strict eating, and 6 months "coasting" and not paying so much attention, and it's working great. Anyway, the special section is here, but it's still heavily under construction. I'll make sure to post updates in here when it's completely ready to roll! :)

	Uh oh, we are in trouble... Yesterday we had a big cookout with the family, and I went a bit overboard with the food eating! Even though Diane & I had turkey hot dogs and chicken burgers, I think I forgot all about portion size and quantity. :)

	And that's a wrap on "Rumors"... We had a couple of really good shows over this two weekend run, and some mediocre shows. Overall, very strong and a lot of fun! All right, enough of my yakkin'!

	We just wrapped the first weekend of "Rumors", which is going along pretty well. Tonight's show was out best one yet. Plus, we're back on the healthy eating track since our week away in Oklahoma. Let's rock!

	We went to see Weird Al tonight in Glen Allen (just outside of Richmond, VA). Awesome! :) He came out into the crowd during "Wanna B Ur Lovr" and was about 5 feet away from us. And, he forgot the words during the middle of "Bob" and had to turn around to look at the big screen where, conveniently, they were playing the "Bob" video which features Al holding up little cards with all the words written on them. Anyway, great show! :)

	Aaaaand... we're back from Oklahoma! The wedding was nice, and it was great for Diane & I to see our nephew for the first time. We even got to babysit him for one full night while his parents got away for the evening. We did a little bit of bad eating out, and it looks like the scales will show it! Oh well, should have a good week next week...

	Diane & I decided to hit the thrift stores this weekend to find some inexpensive clothes while we're melting away here... Diane's down 3 pants sizes, and I'm down 4 (counting even numbered sizes only, as they tend to do for some strange reason)! I was surprised to find some really nice stuff!

	Tonight was the first "Rumors" read-through, and it's should be really funny. Lots of witty dialog and situational humor. We've got some comedic talent in the cast, and if we can get the rapid-fire pace down, the audience won't know what hit 'em!

	Today was the second (and last) day of auditions for the local theater company's production of Neil Simon's "Rumors". Diane & I were hoping that if we got cast, we could play a couple, as there are four "couples" in the play. I got cast as one of the male leads, and Diane got one of the smaller roles. We're a little bummed, but we'll make the best of it! :)

	Week 7 of our re-visit to Healthy Lifestyle Land (see 1/7/07 entry below) has come to a close... We didn't do too bad considering we ate out twice this week! We hit the local Japanese steakhouse on Thursday, which wasn't too bad. We opted for plain rice rather than fried, and had hibachi vegetables. We ate out again Friday at Ruby Tuesday, and picked the healthiest meal on the menu... Creole Catch. Too bad it had 31 grams of fat! That's more in one meal than we've eaten in an entire day since we started! Should've had the chicken-white-bean chili & the salad bar...

	Diane & I went to see the local theater group's latest play, The Cemetery Club, which starred two of the "nuns" from our last show. They did a really good job, and we're hoping we can go see it one more time next weekend.

	Happy Valentine's Day! Diane & I went out to Black Pelican tonight for their Valentine Special dinner. Their parmesan-crusted rockfish was goo-oo-ood! :) And we ate some key lime pie! Agh! There goes the diet! (Maybe not.)

	Weigh-day is here again... Despite splurging on all-you-can-eat shrimp (we chose broiled, not fried) and a trip to Applebee's (long live the Weight Watchers menu), we've come out way ahead this week!

	Diane & I just got back yesterday from a little weekend adventure in Baltimore. We had tickets to see the touring Broadway production of Wicked, plus we hit the National Aquarium and Medieval Times while we were there. We were pretty good about eating... honey bran muffins, fruit salads, grilled sandwiches, salads, broiled seafood with no butter, lots of water... the "worst" (but best tasting) meal of the weekend was probably Medieval Times. We live to fight another week!

	Those of you who know us may know that Diane & I were on a bit of a healthy eating kick for most of 2005. I believe we started in April 2005 and went through the holidays, but by the time 2006 rolled around, we'd started to slack again. Over the course of 2005, I had lost about 75 pounds, and then with the slackness, gained about 18 or so of the back. Oops! Anyway, the point is that we're going back on our healthy living kick, and we'll see how far we can get this time. I'll have to keep updates going in this journal every so often... So we're starting today, and I'm officially down 57 pounds from my original starting weight. Diane's down 41.5 pounds from hers. Let's rock!
